Reach for Change is a non-profit organization co-founded by the Stenbeck’s Foundation and the companies of the Kinnevik Group – Kinnevik, CDON Group, BillerudKorsnäs, Metro, MTG, Millicom and Tele2. The over-arching goal for Reach for Change is a better world for children. Our way there goes through mobilizing a global movement of smart and brave change agents, driven by a strong passion for children’s rights.
Reach for Change regards social entrepreneurship – the use of innovation and business-like methods for social good – as the most powerful way of creating sustainable change. For this reason, our primary tool is an incubator for social entrepreneurs – or a springboard for Change Leaders.
In this incubator the smartest, bravest and most passionate change agents on the child’s rights field are connected with some of the sharpest co-workers from our corporate partners. They receive financial support and coaching in areas such as business development, leadership and expansion strategy. Together we create innovative, sustainable and scalable ventures with the power to alter societies around the world, creating better lives for children. We expect great things from the entrepreneurs – our Change Leaders. We challenge them to, in a concrete and measurable way, solve some of the most pressing issues for children locally and globally. Together with us, we also expect them to lead the way and inspire others to follow by showing that change is within reach and that one voice can make a difference. This is how we mobilize our global movement for a better world for children.
